Established in 1998, Suryam is the brainchild of Mr. Sawarmal Bhartiya and has been a leading ethnic wear manufacturer ever since. With an exquisite collection in men’s ethnic wear based in Mumbai, we have carved our name among the trusted ethnic brands in India.
Keeping the rich Indian heritage in mind and backing of a creative team comprising of 100 workforces, Suryam has made its presence felt in 250+ cities serving more than 2000 clients. We love experimenting with men’s dressing style by blending modernized Indian styles with the evergreen traditional designs.
Today, Suryam has spread its creativity across leading states in India and also overseas including the USA, Malaysia, Canada, and Australia. With high quality latest computerized machines, Suryam hopes to keep on serving the coming generations with its wide men’s ethnic collection.

Mr. Sawarmal Bhartiya
The story of Mr. Sawarmal Bhartiya the founder of Suryam has always been an inspiration to the team of Suryam. Mr. Bhartiya has always been an enthusiastic person wanting to learn, grow and succeed in life. The attitude to always learn has enabled him to be a successful person in life as well as in business.
Before establishing Suryam, Mr. Sawarmal Bhartiya was in the business line of selling clothing fabrics to small store retailers. During the early days of Suryam, Mr. Sawarmal Bhartiya would carry a bag filled with garments and would sell it to the retailers in and around Mumbai, he would selflessly work day and night.
However his passion to start his own business and also forecasting the potential boom in the textile industry enabled him to enter into the space of manufacturing Men’s Ethnic Wear in India. He started his business with just as few as 5 machinery and a few workers and as of today he has a team of more than 100 individuals and he’s been able to established himself as one of the leaders of Men’s Ethnic Wear garments in India and around the globe
